Une vidéo reçue pendant l'hiver 2019 fait remonter les vieux souvenirs du XXe siècle. "À partir de maintenant, tu sauras tout ce qu'il fait. Tu peux compter sur moi !" En 1999, Bo-ra (Kim Yoo-jeong), 17 ans, s'attelle à la tâche la plus importante de son adolescence, car l'amitié est plus forte que tout, plus forte même que l'amour. Quand Yeon-doo (Roh Yoon-seo) se rend à l'étranger pour être opérée du cœur, Bo-ra promet de surveiller le premier amour de son amie et de lui raconter tous ses faits et gestes. "Il s'appelle Baek Hyun-jin. Il mesure 1,81 m, chausse du 43 et il aime le basket. Il est toujours accompagné de son meilleur ami." Pour tout savoir sur Hyun-jin (Park Jung-woo), Bo-ra se rapproche de son meilleur ami, Woon-ho (Byeon Woo-seok). Mais les choses ne se passent pas tout à fait comme prévu, et voilà que le cœur de Bo-ra se met lui aussi à battre la chamade.
