Directed by Raymond Garceau. With Jacques Godin, Alexis Ladouceur. The lake man of the title is Alexis Ladouceur, a half-breed who lives in the northern part of Alberta with his mother. In this documentary, he is seen fishing, meeting neighbors, getting drunk in the nearby town, attending family celebrations, taking part in the Lac Sainte-Anne pilgrimage in central Alberta.
