At home, Pedro finds a jobless and lethargic father, an absent and disingenuous mother. When his grandfather moves in with the family in Lisbon from an isolated village in the North, Pedro is faced with a dilemma: to give an opportunity to the one who really wants to know him or to keep the pact of liberation that bonds him to his friends. The path he takes leads the family to an abyss of remorse that will make it impossible to pretend that Nothing Ever Happened.
